Morning all, time for a #MondayMotivation post.
How often do you have visions?
I don’t mean vision as in you’re a bit nuts but visions of a new you, a new life, or new opportunities? I would hope this to be fairly normal. Hopefully we are always looking to better ourselves, in both our personal and professional life.
I got thinking about all of this when I came across a quote by Thomas Edison:
‘Your vision without execution is an hallucination’
The visions you may have of you living a different life or achieving things that at the moment may seem mere dreams, are your way of telling yourself that somewhere deep down you were placed on this earth to do more than you are doing at this current moment. Intrinsically we should be driven to explore and find our true potential and excel at whatever it is that we have at our root core, which is our ‘genius’.
But so many of us allow our visions to pass bye unexplored. Usually not for the lack of wanting too but because they lack the drive and the audacity to stand up and say right my time is now and I’m not going to quit until I have succeeded.
Without execution your vision is nothing more than a hallucination or a mirage in the distance. Do your entire existence a favour and if you’ve had a reoccurring thought or an idea for a while now, get the ball rolling and do something about it. You never know it could be the best thing you’ve ever done.
Make your visions a reality.
Have a great week guys.
Stay strong and live, love and laugh!
