Today’s #MondayMotivation post is a question of fear.
2018 is now in full swing and it has already hit March in the blink of an eye.
Have you been taking full advantage of making 2018 the best year so far, or has something been holding you back?
Does fear hold you back from reaching the heights of your true potential?
This year has already been a busy year for myself with lots of plans in motion and of course some of the bigger ones and major shifts have had fear attached to them. But if they didn’t that wouldn’t be normal now would it. You need those stomach churning moments to make you realise that you are alive and what you are doing could be a step up closer towards your true potential.
Fear can be our friend, but you need to have control of it and not let it overwhelm you.
Those butterflies in your belly are there to remind you of the big shift you’re about to take and your gut will tell you if it’s the right move or not. As when these moments arrive, you could be shifting forward on to a new level, or you could be shifting backwards the wrong way. But you will get a intrinsic feeling of what way it’s going to sway.
Fear ultimately is a survival mechanism there to protect us, it’s part of our fight or flight system. Whether we fight or flight the initial fear and apprehension is the same, it’s the actions taken that are different. And the fear itself arises from the unknown, from the I’m not sure what the end result may be and it’s in those instances we have to decide do we stay and fight or do we flight and run away.
Use fear to your advantage and don’t shy away from it, as you might just be on the verge of the biggest opportunity of your life.
Is fear holding you back? Is it about time you confronted your fears?
Have a think, have a great week guys.
Stay strong and live, love and laugh!
